The Harold Johnson Nature Reserve is situated north of Ballito on the banks of the Tugela river and North of Zinkwazi. The reserve offers walking trails, picnic sites, braai areas, small variety of game such as the blue, red and grey duiker, bushbuck, bush pig, impala, zebra and crocodiles.
![]() | Crocodile Creak Crocodile Creek was cut out of dense coastal bush overlooking the Tongaat River flood plain in 1983 and is home to 7000 Nile crocodiles, alligators, slender snouted and dwarf crocs. They range from 30cm hatchlings to 600kg in size. Enjoy an exciting guided tour, never to be forgotten, bush trails, huge pythons and deadly mambas complete the bush experience. For those who are brave take part in the Crocodile Creek Challenge or even just a game of paintball.
